This campaign was built to bring Winnrz's 'shop and win' concept to life on screen, turning the flattest day of the week into the moment everything gets interesting.
Set against the small, familiar miseries of a midweek Wednesday – a grey bus stop, a half-asleep office lift, someone staring out a window waiting for anything to happen – the ad pivots the second a phone lights up. From there, the everyday gives way to the extraordinary: big cash prizes, dream cars, luxury holidays, all up for grabs every single week.
Winnrz is the UK arm of Idealz Holding's 'shop and win' model, a concept with real global traction but no established presence here yet. The brief was to introduce it to a British audience through a debut TV commercial that didn't lean on the mechanics of the platform to do the work. Winnrz needed a spot that made 'winning' feel human and immediate rather than abstract, and that gave Winnrz Wednesdays a personality people would actually look forward to, week in, week out.
We anchored the whole concept in something everyone already recognises: the specific, low-level dullness of a Wednesday. No stunts, no over-explaining the platform – just a bus stop, a lift, a window, and the quiet feeling of waiting for something to happen. The turn comes from one small, universal gesture: a phone lighting up. That single beat does the heavy lifting, tipping the film from mundane to electric in a heartbeat, and setting up the prizes as the payoff rather than the pitch.
Ashley and Jordan Banjo front the wider campaign, putting real personality behind the promise that these aren't hypothetical wins dreamed up for an ad – they're real people, winning live, every week. Working closely with the Winnrz team from first concept through to final grade, we kept the tone quick, visual, and dry, right down to the closing line: hump day just got interesting.
The debut commercial gives Winnrz a strong, distinctive entry point into the UK market, establishing Winnrz Wednesdays as a recognisable weekly moment rather than a one-off launch spot. It was a genuine team effort start to finish, with Winnrz bringing energy and ambition to every stage of production – and a film neither side would change.
