A 30-second Direct Response TV (DRTV) commercial for TotallyMoney.com, designed to promote their exclusive rate for the Aqua Classic Card and drive traffic to their website.

Challenge

TotallyMoney.com needed an engaging yet direct DRTV commercial to build awareness of the Aqua Classic Card, which offers the lowest APR on the market for those with a poor credit rating. The brief required a creative concept that was both memorable and effective in communicating the card’s benefits.

Insight

To highlight the unique selling points of the Aqua Classic Card, the creative needed to be visually striking while reinforcing the TotallyMoney.com brand name. The solution lay in a well-known talent show format, where a panel of animated credit cards judged competitors based on their merits, making the campaign both engaging and instantly recognisable.

Creative Strategy

Happy Hour Productions won a two-way pitch to bring this concept to life through animation. The talent show theme allowed for a lively, entertaining execution while ensuring key product features were communicated clearly and persuasively. By combining humour and vibrant visuals, the campaign successfully captured audience attention and reinforced the brand’s credibility.

Results
