Scott Pleydell-Pearce - bio

With over 21 years being involved in the animation industry, Scott's career spans many areas including feature films, games, commercials and broadcast. A background in 2D served him well as he diversified into the world of CGI. 9 years at Aardman animations saw Scott help develop and eventually co-head the cgi department, whilst all the time working as a senior animator and commercials director.
Now flying solo as a freelance director/animator Scott is currently directing a series of commercials with Happy Hour.

Scott has also won a British Television Craft Advertising Award (Gold Arrow) for Robinsons  ‘Boogie’. ( Best computer animation 2004)

Outside of work Scott enjoys surfing and playing the ukulele, and resides in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, UK. where he can be seen driving his 1964 VW splitscreen camper van.
